To test or not to test? 🙄
Lately, my LinkedIn feed feels like an endless scroll of AI experiments. I get it — it’s exciting and I’m doing it too. But in my case, I realized I’m not testing the tool — I’m testing myself. I'm training my storytelling muscle, exploring by creating. I’m lucky to work in an industry where play and work often overlap.
Why a spec ad about Luma?
A few months ago, I made a spec ad for Oatly using Luma AI , which got some nice attention. Since I’m part of their CPP, I wanted to give something back, with an ad created entirely using Luma. It took longer than expected… and along the way, I ended up using every new feature they launched 😅.
I even had to restart a few parts mid-production because new features dropped, and they seriously leveled up the quality. Big thanks to Kate Kurth, Caroline Ingeborn, and the Luma CPP team for being such strong supporters of creators!
Thanks to Daniel Kontur for letting me steal his time and his storytelling wisdom.
Balázs Budavári, and Danila Kostil for their feedback, and to Arminas Valunas for the Armada prompter, which made a real difference on this one.
Since I started this journey into AI filmmaking, a lot of good things have happened. Many people have reached out to explore partnerships, and the team at Linkvids.io is one of them. They joined this personal project and helped out with some key production aspects in areas where AI still has its limits. Their support really helped refine the final result.
Big thanks to Josep Surinyach CulÃ, Martin PONS, Rodrigo V., and Carlos Gabriel Blanco Bifano — looking forward to future projects with this amazing team!
& Budavári Dóra for all the revisions and check-ins 😜 !
